Numero Uno Collection

Privacy Policy

Who this is

Numero Uno Collection is a private collection of founder-built cars, run from Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. This policy covers this website and the enquiry form and newsletter on it.

The person responsible for the information collected here is Gaurav Dhar, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You can reach him at info@numerounocollection.com.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry we collect your first and last name, your email address, and the reason or reasons you selected, along with the answers you give to the questions under each one.

You may also give us a phone number and where you are based. Both are optional and the form works without them.

We record that you agreed to this policy, and the date and time you did.

What we record automatically

When you submit the form or subscribe to the newsletter we store the IP address and browser identification the request arrived with, alongside the date and time.

This is kept for two reasons. It is evidence of consent, which is the point of asking for consent at all. It is also how we limit how often the same address or connection can submit, which is what keeps the form from being flooded.

Separately, the service that hosts this site counts visits to it, so we can see how many people come and which pages they read. That measurement is about pages rather than about people. We do not use advertising trackers, we do not follow you to other websites, and we do not sell or share your information with anyone for marketing.

Why we use it

To read your enquiry, to decide whether the collection can help, and to reply to you. If you subscribe, to send you the newsletter.

We do not make automated decisions about you. Every enquiry is read by a person.

The newsletter

Ticking the newsletter box puts you on the list there and then. The box is never ticked for you, and ticking it is the consent.

You can unsubscribe from any newsletter we send using the link in it, or by writing to info@numerounocollection.com. Unsubscribing is final: if you later send an enquiry and tick the box again, that alone will not put you back on the list.

Subscribing and sending an enquiry are separate. You can do either without the other.

Who else handles it

This website is hosted by Lovable, which also provides the visit statistics described above. The information you submit is stored in a database run by Supabase. Both process it on our instructions and neither uses it for their own purposes.

Your browser also loads this site's typefaces from Google. Nothing you type here is sent to them, but your IP address reaches them as part of that request. We intend to serve those files from this site instead.

At the time of writing no email service is connected, so nothing has been sent to one. When that changes this section will name the provider.

How long we keep it

Enquiries: kept for twenty four months from your last contact with us, then deleted, unless a continuing relationship means we still need them.

Newsletter subscribers: kept until you unsubscribe. A record that an address unsubscribed is kept afterwards, because that is what stops it being added again by mistake.

Consent records: kept for as long as the information they relate to.

Nothing in the site deletes on a timer yet, so these periods are kept by review rather than automatically. We would rather say that than imply a precision we do not have.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can withdraw consent for the newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link, without giving a reason.

Write to info@numerounocollection.com, or use the contact form on this site. Either reaches us and we will respond.

Cookies

We do not use advertising cookies. There is no tag manager, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracking script on this site.

A small number of files are set when you load a page. One comes from Cloudflare, which shields the site from automated traffic. One records which version of the site is serving you, so your requests stay with it. One identifies your browsing session, which is how visits are counted. None of them carries your name, and none is used to follow you to other websites.

If you sign in to the administration area, a further cookie keeps you signed in. That area is not open to the public.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete these. The site works either way; only the visit count becomes less accurate.

Children

This site is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us something, write to info@numerounocollection.com and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
